In 2021, Garena will present three international events, namely the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) in April and November, and Free Fire All Stars in July.
Garena Indonesia hopes that the team esports from Indonesia could have a chance to win all three tournaments.

Currently, Indonesian esports teams are fighting at the Free Fire Indonesia Masters (FFIM) 2021 Spring. FFIM acts as a qualifier for Indonesia before, the top team will have the opportunity to advance to the FFWS championship representing Indonesia to fight for the Free Fire world champion title. The three 2021 international esports tournaments for Free Fire are a continuation of the success of previous years’ tournaments.

World Class Grand Competition in Free Fire World Series and All-Stars
Free Fire World Series (FFWS) is Free Fire’s biggest and most iconic esports tournament.
FFWS 2021 alone managed to get more than 2 million peak concurrent viewers (PCV) online, which was then a world record for a tournament match mobile esports according to Esports Charts.
Due to the global pandemic situation, in 2021 the FFWS tournament series was replaced by the Free Fire Continental Series (FFCS) which still gets very good audience interest.

Well, in 2021 FFWS will come back with two editions at once which will be held at two separate times, in April and November.
The April issue of FFWS will begin with Play-ins on April 24 and conclude with Finals on May 1.
This year’s FFWS is predicted to return with a larger scale and production than in previous years.
Previously covered nine areas; Latin America, Europe and Asia at FFWS 2021; The April edition of FFWS will bring together 22 teams from 13 regions, including the Middle East, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.

FFWS will also compete for a total prize pool of USD 2 million or around Rp. 28 billion, which is the largest number in the history of the Free Fire esports tournament.
To mark the return of FFWS in April, Garena introduced a new logo for FFWS.
The sleek new logo features an interlocking “W” and “S” representing the initials of the “World Series” – reminiscent of the flames of a burning torch – a symbol of hope, courage and strength.

In addition, between the two April and November editions of FFWS, Garena will also hold Free Fire All Stars in July, where top influencers and professional players from around the world will compete in two competition segments.
