Some Players Report PS5 Suddenly Freezes During Rest Mode

GridGames.ID – It’s been on sale and even sold out since its release date, suddenly there’s bad news from Sony’s next-gen console, the PlayStation 5 (PS5).

Looking at the Twitter column, some players have reported that their PS5 was frozen when entering Rest Mode.

Worse still, some of these players reported that freezing occurred while playing the game.

“Um, Astrobot really freezes the PS5,” wrote @ZachariusD on Twitter.

Responding to the tweet, there were also those who said that he experienced the same thing, even to the point of not being able to turn it off.

” Mine just (freeze) with Miles Morales. Can’t even turn it off for a while,” replied one Twitter user named @Lyrch_.

In the Reddit discussion column, there are several players who find the axis of the problem from this issue, pointing to “rest mode” as the root.

But there are also those who say that the problem could be due to the use of a USB port and a LAN cable after it has been set.

Summarizing from GamesRadar, their review unit had problems with “rest mode” which made it difficult to play the game.

But it all ended when there was a Day One update.

Even though there has been the Day One update, there is still the potential for this kind of problem to occur again and it is not easy to pinpoint exactly what the root of this problem is.
